Blackjack Switch

Blackjack is one of the most popular casino card games in the world. Blackjack switch is a variation of this game. It's very simple, but with an interesting twist!

Aim of the game

In Blackjack switch you play against the Dealer. To win your total must be greater than the Dealer’s total, but not exceed 21. Your hand will lose if your card total is less than that of the Dealer’s or greater than 21. If your total is the same as the Dealer’s then the result is a tie, or ‘stand off’. If the dealers total is 22 all bets are a push.

How to Play

An exciting new addition to regular blackjack allowing you to control the order of your cards Each player plays 2 hands and places an identical bet on both betting spots. Players now have the choice of keeping the hands they have dealt or ‘switching’ their second cards around. For example, if a player is dealt:

All doubling and splitting is allowed as in regular Blackjack even after ‘switching’. As the dealer cannot ‘switch’ the casino will employ 2 rules to compensate for this extremely powerful player feature.

  • Blackjacks’ pay even money’
  • if the dealer ‘Push 22’ makes a hard total of 22 then all remaining bets are ‘pushed’.

Simple , but with a brilliant twist…..

Card values

Cards from 2 to 10 have their face value. Jacks, Queens and Kings have a value of ten. Aces count as one or eleven.

Blackjack

A Blackjack is when the first two cards dealt to you are an Ace and a card with the value of ten. Once all players have made their decisions the Dealer draws cards to his/her hand. The Dealer must draw a card to his/her hand if he/she has 16 or less. When the Dealer’s hand reaches a total of 17 or more he/she must not draw another card.

All winning bets are paid even money.

Splitting

When the first two cards dealt to your hand are a pair of the same value you may split them to create two separate hands, by placing an additional stake equal to the original bet. Split Aces will only receive one additional card. If the subsequent card dealt has a value of ten this will only count as 21 and not a Blackjack.

Doubling

A Player may double any two card total by placing an additional stake equal to the original bet. The player will only receive one additional card to this hand.

Supermatch

You also have the option of playing the ‘Super Match’
bonus bet, another exciting addition to the game featuring multiple payouts. (Payouts are printed on the layout).

Players who place this bet are aiming to be dealt a pair, or better, from any of the 4 initial cards dealt to them.

House edge

House edge is 0.28%
Super match house edge for the bet is 2.55%
